Help Me Raise Money for Crohn's and Colitis Research!
I am participating in the CCFA-sponsored Team Challenge, a training program to complete the ING Miami Half Marathon in January. Please click here to see my fundraising page and make a donation. Each member of Team Challenge is responsible for raising $3,900, so I need your help! Thanks!
About Me
Alicia
I'll solve, Pat. "No rectal pain, no gain!"
I'm a 26 year old with Crohn's Disease and no desire to keep quiet about it.
If you'd like to tell me about your rectal pain, or if you have questions, you can email me: buyabowel (at) gmail dot com.
I am not a doctor, I don't even play one on TV. You can ask me anything you want about my experiences with Crohn's, but any other questions should be directed to your physician.
B.C.: (abbv.) Before Crohn's, life without a diagnosis.
Big D: (noun) diarrhea. Also, city of Dallas. Sorry, Dallas.
Crohn's: (noun) stylish inflammatory bowel disease. Also can be used as an adjective, i.e. "I'm feeling Crohn's-y today."
IBD: (abbv.) Inflammatory Bowel Disease, a handy unmbrella term for Crohn's and ulcerative colitis, so you can reduce the number of times you say the disturbing words "Inflammatory," "Bowel," and "Disease."
Team Alicia: (noun) my family, friends, doctors, people who give up their seat on the subway for me, and the folks who run Cheezburger, Cute Overload, and most especially Itty Bitty Kitty Committee.
UC: (noun) ulcerative colitis, inflammation of the colon OR possession of the colon by Satan.
2 flushes:
Oh, that's just perfect. Sadly. *laughs*
LOL. This fits so many people I know.
